Whale Wharf 2014

IMG 0599

Whale Wharf is a great place to fly, plenty of room, smooth air and very nice scenery for Phil, who is old enough to appreciate it.

Camping on site and a real nice pub just down the road, with very good food and live music. A good night was had by all, some more than others, eh Pete.

Fine weather for most of the weekend, just some mist on Saturday delayed the start, but soon cleared, and we were off.

Four new faces in sportsman, all flew well for there first attempt at IMAC, well done to you all.
Seven flew sportsman with Simon Wood taking the win.

Only one in Intermediate. So Allan won.

Three in Advanced, all very close and we all managed to get though the unknown with four rollers, yes four. Phil Hoyle, 1st place.

Four in Unlimited, all flew well, and all managed to get though there unknown with there weedy one roll roller. Thomas 1st.

Six for freestyle with some live music, bit of a change here. Instead of flying to the music the music changed to what the plane was doing. Nice one Lee, very entertaining.

Thanks to all who put on a great comp and to all doing the cooking for breakfast and lunch.

Hopefully we can return next year.
